About the “Ciclos” Series
Ciclos (Cycles, in english) is a series built from fragments — of images, symbols, and untold stories. These collages emerge from intuition and instinct, as if each composition were an attempt to make sense of emotional chaos.
The feminine unfolds in layers: faces, bodies, and gestures intertwine with symbolic elements that speak of transformation, fertility, strength, repression, freedom, and silence — all at once. Just like womanhood.
Each piece opens a door to the invisible — to feelings we can’t quite name. A reflection of phases that repeat and reinvent themselves, much like the cycles of life. In this dance between the intimate and the collective, the series invites a dive inward — not to offer answers, but to hold up a mirror.
Originally conceived and created while the artist was still living in Brazil in 2019, Ciclos was shown in three exhibitions and the prints are serialized — only a limited number of each piece is produced.
